Presbyopia

Presbyopia usually occurs beginning at around age 40, when people experience blurred near vision when reading, sewing or working at the computer. The deterioration of our natural lens elasticity is what affects the eyes ability to accommodate over varying distances; causing light (and therefore images) to be focused behind the retina.
